Can someone suggest some good ambient music? I like Eno, Chemical Bros. and Groove Armada. Some/all may not be really ambient. So what do you say?

While Chemical Brothers and Groove Armada have some ambient passages in their music,
I'd consider them better labeled under electronica > breakbeat or downtempo.
These genres cover a lot of territory though.
In this vicinity you might also enjoy Amon Tobin or David Holmes.

Another edge to explore where beats and ambient music merge can be found at the WARP label. Home to Autechre and Boards of Canada.

In the vicinity of Eno (atmospheric, sound scapes, non-western rhythms):

David Sylvian/Holger Czukay - Plight and Premonition

Jon Hassell - Dream Theory In Malaya

Steve Roach - Quiet Music

Yeah, Biosphere... try to listen to "Nordheim Transformed" (Biosphere & Deathprod).

Aphex Twins' "Selected Ambient Works" is a must have also... White Blur 2 is especially trippy and obsessive.

Try also Goem, Taylor Dupree, Kim Cascone or Even Merzbow (be careful with that last one tho, Merzbow's pretty harsh. Start with "Music for bondage performance", wich is one of his softer works).

if you like "Selected Ambient Works" by Aphex Twin, i'd suggest checking out the band Lights Out Asia....very much the same kinda feel but with a more chillout edge/feel...

try this, at the computer and after that anywhere else: close your eyes and listen. you are now listening to ambient noise (but not reading if you have your eyes shut). every now and then you will hear beautiful ambient music. not that often but it'll be worth it when you do.

i would also suggest Global Communication.. and my favorite is "Mystical Experiences" by The Infinity Project.. This is very trippy psychedelic ambient which is what i like..
